The Renters Policy policy covers those of you who are currently renting where you live. This relatively inexpensive policy will pay to replace your personal property (your clothes and couch, appliances and TV, etc) in the event of a fire or other covered accident. It also offers coverage for Liability and Medical Expenses; this protects you if someone gets hurt on your property and needs medical attention, or sues you. An example of this coverage would be if you would cause a fire that would burn down your apartment and that of your 3 neighbors. They can and probably will sue you. This coverage would pick up and pay those costs. The policy also includes extra feature, for example, coverage to pay for your additional living expenses while your property would be rebuilt after a fire.
